About Mountain High Imports

Mountain High Imports was started in 2007 with the intent of promoting and distributing fairly traded extra virgin Sumud brand Palestinian olive oil and other Palestinian agricultural products and handicrafts in the U.S. Sales of these products are intended to inject Palestinian culture and awareness of Palestine into the U.S. while opening new markets for Palestinian producers with the economic benefits that entails. We use sales profits to place larger orders from Palestinian farmers and to broaden our distribution channels in the US.

We pay only fair prices to our suppliers in the belief that through this principle we will contribute to the sustainability of their labor and the sufficiency of their living. With fair and timely payment for their products, producers can provide decent housing, nutritious food, health care, and education for themselves and their family. To verify our commitment to these standards we will donate 50 cents from every bottle of Sumud brand Palestinian olive oil sold to the farmers who produced it.
